Alumna returns to speak to pupils about career pathways

EY Apprenticeship Talk
EY Apprenticeship Talk
On Friday 6th December, we had a former Coloma student, Kitty Streek, visit the Year 12 A level and BTEC Business classes to inform us about the other opportunities available in contrast to a university route in regards to further education. Kitty Streek herself is on the four years EY apprenticeship scheme and is currently in her second year. We found it very useful and enlightening as it opened up another pathway which many of us may have not considered. Her PowerPoint highlighted the many sections in EY, the advantages and disadvantages of doing an apprenticeship scheme, the procedure for applying to EY and other resources that may be necessary when deciding which apprenticeship scheme is the right one for us. She answered all our questions with her in-depth knowledge such as the work experience needed and her personal opinion on the apprenticeship scheme. We are very grateful for taking her time to explain to us another pathway that is available outside of university.
